Indoor Rail Track Training

Do you want to be ski instructor?

Would you like to teach on the indoor rolling track? Then follow the course, take the exam and obtain an international diploma from Snowsports Academy to teach on the track. Unique about this Indoor Roller Rink course; you can follow the course at Ski School Amstelveen! The training is provided in cooperation with Snowsports Academy.

If you have successfully followed the training, you will be able to teach independently at the indoor rail track at various levels. You possess didactic skills, are able to prepare a lesson and you can make a motion analysis.

The indoor rail track training

  • If you want to teach on a rail track, specific job knowledge is indispensable.
  • The training increases the knowledge about the rail track, his own skill, the teaching and the differences between the rail track and the snow.
  • The training can be followed at a connected ski centre near you.
  • Good stepping-up to NSI & Anwärter, the other way the training is a good broadening.
  • You can use the teaching material that has been made available by Snowsports Academy.
  • The exam is taken by Snowsports Academy. On your diploma, the level is indicated per component.

Aim of the indoor rail track training

After you go through this module you will be able to teach independently at the indoor rail track at various levels. You possess didactic skills, are able to prepare a lesson and can make a motion analysis.

You can participate in the indoor rail track training If you:

  • Have experience with skiing/snowboarding on the rail track, or already have a ski-/snowboarddiploma in possession.
  • Skiing is absolutely crazy!
  • 16 years or older (on the day of the exam).
  • In the snow everywhere safely comes down. This means that you will be fluent and without falling off a red slope.
  • How people can enjoy their dealings!
  • Have obtained a ski or snowboard teacher diploma somewhere else. For inflow possibilities, please feel free to contact us.

What do we examine?

  • Own skill (plough running, shift curves, between shapes, parallel curves)
  • Teaching (Practice and Theory exam)
  • Theory (mechanics, methodical structure, kinderles, error analysis, exercises)

Contents of the indoor rail track training

  • Total 32 hours, of which:

- 20 hours of self-training

- 4 hours of practical teaching

- 4 hours NSL 2 (didactics/teaching)

- 4 hours theory methodology
